SCHOOL BUS OPERATING REGULATIONS - GENERAL

Maximum Speed Limits

Maximum speed limits have been established as follows:

bulletOn side roads and gravelled highways: 80km per hour
bulletIn town, restricted areas, and paved highways: as posted

Safety Belts

Bus Drivers will fasten their safety belts at all times.

Assigned Seating

The Bus Driver shall assign a seat to each passenger. This seat will remain his or her seat until otherwise advised by the Driver.

Headlights

Bus Drivers will drive with headlights on at all times.

Authority of School Principal

Bus Drivers will recognize the complete authority of the School Principal or his appointee in the matter of loading students in the designated loading and unloading areas.
