STUDENT CONDUCT ON SCHOOL BUSES
- All students must be properly dressed for weather conditions and in complete
readiness to board the bus when it arrives at each pick-up point.
- When boarding the bus, students shall immediately and in an orderly manner
proceed to their seats as assigned by the bus driver. Students shall remain in
those seats at all times unless permitted to move by the Driver.
- Noisy behavior will not be allowed on the bus.
- There shall be no tampering with doors or windows and no defacing of any
part of the bus. No object may be thrown out of the bus. Passengers are not
allowed to have a limb or any part of the body extending out of the bus.
- Students must not bother each other. There shall be no tussling or other
unruly behavior.
- No student may leave the bus on the way to and from school except if written
permission by the parent is handed to the Bus Driver.
- Students must be prepared to board the bus immediately after school.
- There shall be no smoking on the bus at any time.
- There shall be no eating or drinking on the bus, except on special occasions
and only with the bus driver’s permission.
- Bus passengers are expected to, at all times, be courteous and considerate
to each other and to the Driver.
- Any student not intending to ride on the bus either morning or evening must
notify the Driver -preferably the night before.
- The Bus Driver is directed to report pupils breaking these rules to the
School Principal, the results of which may be suspension from riding the bus.
