The development of regular school bus routes for the transportation of students to and from school shall be scheduled so as to minimize the ride times for students who are residents of the Division, while maintaining the necessary degree of efficiency for individual routes as well as the transportation system.

Students from adjacent school divisions who are authorized to attend schools in the Division may be accepted as regular bus route passengers, subject to availability of space and satisfactory arrangements to meet the bus at a designated location on an existing bus route. Arrangements to accommodate non-resident students on a bus route will be dealt with on an individual basis. All arrangements to transport non-resident students are subject to annual review.

Arrangements for non-resident students to attend schools in the Division are handled by way of written application to the Superintendent of Schools.
