GUIDELINES FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF
STUDENTS RESIDING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS
The following students are eligible to be considered for school division transportation:
a) students with a verified mental and/or physical handicap enrolled in a special education program who reside outside the school area where the required program is offered.
b) students residing in unserviced (i.e. sewer and water) peripheral areas of the city.
All transportation of students within the city limits must receive the prior written approval of the principal and superintendent's department. Authorization for transportation will be based upon individual circumstances.
Where feasible, parents may be reponsible for getting their children to/from a designated pick-up and drop-off location.
