| RURAL SCHOOLS – Portage la
Prairie School Division #24,
contains the histories of the one room rural schools of the Portage la
Prairie School Division. The
stories were all written by someone from the district, many prior to
school consolidation in the mid 1960’s.
The stories were kept by Mrs. Annie Cuthbert who hoped to see
them published. The book had
its second printing in 1996, and is no longer available.
Special permission has been received from Muriel Wright to make
the book available to the public through the School Division web site.
The book contains approximately 144 pages.
