3.  You will see a screen similar to the one below.

webmail screen

On the left you can click on Mail to access your email, or click on Calendar to access your calendar, or click on Contacts to access your Contact list.  The Mail, Calendar, and Contacts will synchronize with Outlook 2007 on your desktop.

On the top right you have an Address Book, these addresses are the Global Addresses in Outlook 2007 and all of the Active PLPSD staff email addresses are in this Address Book.

Also on the top right you have an Options button that will allow you to customize settings, send Out of Office automated messages, Change Password, etc.

If you wish to use Outlook 2007 for your email rather than the web browser ask your school Tech Support person to set up the program for you.

If you are setting up an email program on your home computer the instructions are at http://www.plpsd.mb.ca/division/technolo.htm.  Click on Setting up a Outlook2007 for your Hosted Exchange E-Mail Account or Modifying an Existing Outlook 2007 Account for MS Exchange E-mail.

It is recommended that you change your password to one that is easier to remember by clicking on the Options button on the top right of your screen and then choosing Change Password on the left pane.  Your new password must be at least 8 characters long with a minimum of one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.  Please choose a password that is not easy to guess.
