PUBLIC MEETING

The Board of Trustees of the Portage la Prairie School Division cordially invite members of the public, Parent Advisory Councils, and other interested individuals to attend a meeting regarding the 2019/2020 school division budget. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 @ 6:00 p.m. at Portage Collegiate Institute (West Building – Gymnasium Room), 65 3rd Street, S.W., Portage la Prairie.

The Public Meeting will include the opportunity to discuss the Provincial Education Review (potential school division amalgamations, loss of local governance), to view student work from across the PLPSD, see recently purchased computer technology and new accessible buses and to engage with students, divisional employees, teachers and administrators about the unique educational programming that is happening in the school division.

Responses to the proposed budget will be received by the Board at their regular meeting on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Individuals wishing to make presentations must contact the School Division Office at 204-857-8756, or via email at sduncan@plpsd.mb.ca, no later than 12 noon on February 26, 2019, to register.
