From the gym…

Congratulations to all of our girls and boy’s basketball teams on an exciting season! Special congrats to our boy’s basketball team who captured the 2020 Divisional Banner!!! This was back to back wins with coaches Nelissen and Syrota. The also won the MacGregor tournament, were finalist in our home tourney and are traveling to Neepaw this weekend to finish off their season.
Thank you to Ms. Ethans, Ms. Brown, Mr. Syrota, and Mr. Nelissen for all your expertise and time coaching. Thank you to our scorekeepers; Cameron, Clay, Martina and Eric on a job well done!
The junior high curling league will wrap up shortly with playoff starting the second week of March and a final wind up with a date still to be determined. 
Badminton practices will also begin the first week of March for grade 7 and 8 students.
All of our Phys. Ed. classes have had the opportunity to snowshoe in our back field and it has been a fun and new experience for our Phys. Ed classes to enjoy a mini adventure together. The students really enjoyed this time!

Our Jump Rope for Heart and Stroke fundraising has begun and students in grade 2-8 still have time to start fundraising but all money and envelopes need to be brought back by next Friday March 6. Our school goal is $3500 and new this year is a grade 7&8 3-on-3 basketball tournament!

Please remind your children of the importance of bringing a change of clothes for physical education class as part of good personal hygiene, self-care and easier movement. There is a direct link between changing and consistent and on task participation. PE clothes for expected for class every day.


Grade 2-8 students are expected to change for phys. ed. class and have clean running shoes. Please remind your child to bring back their PE clothes and to change their indoor shoes before heading outside so that we can keep our gym floors as clean as possible.
