 BREAKING NEWS:

Recently it was announced that the Grade 7/8 Band and Art programs would be terminated. As a replacement, students in these grades will be presented the brand new Arts curriculum that has been developed by Manitoba Education. Mrs. Harrison will be returning from her maternity leave to teach the class. It will include a focus on four different artistic disciplines: Visual Arts, Music, Dance and Drama. Fortunately, we are also able to offer a Band class for Grade 7 and 8 students. The class will run outside of the regularly scheduled school day. Students would be expected to attend the class over lunch hour, from 12:10-12:45 on Days 1, 5 and 6. The class would be included on the student report card and would be officially recognized by the school and the division office. Attendance would be mandatory for all students who had registered. Absences being dealt with according to school and division policy.
