PLPSD has launched a website to help parents cope with remote learning. This website includes information and supports for parents to help them learn more about the systems their child is using for remote learning. There are how-to guides that support parents, as well as troubleshooting guides if their technology is not working. This website will continue to be updated to include new information.

Everybody in School Every Day Initiative to Reach out to Parents, Young Manitobans - The province is joining with the Manitoba Association of Parent Councils (MAPC) and educators to increase awareness of the importance of regular attendance at school for every child. The new strategy and supporting materials will be available on the MAPC website at www.mapc.mb.ca/ and the Manitoba Education website at www.edu.gov.mb.ca/.

StressHacks: www.stresshacks.ca StressHacks is a new provincially funded child and youth mental health navigation website to build greater awareness of the resources and services available for youth within our province and how to access them. It provides important tips to protect and promote positive mental health, as well as links to a range of resources for young Manitobans, their families, friends, teachers and others who care about them The site is geared toward children and youth between the ages of 10 and 24. It provides quick suggestions, or hacks, that will help individuals to decide if and when they need help, how to find help, and offer self-help tips and resources. The site will also assist users to locate a range of local and provincial mental health supports and services by providing links, resources and a Services Map (geo-locator) developed by Manitoba eHealth.
