Graduating students for 2008-2009 will need 29 credits and for 2009 2010 they will need 30 credits. Approximately 20 more classes will be incorporated into the year and there have been no ideas as to where the extra funding for these classes will come from. The concept will focus on fitness, nutrition, exercise, lifestyles with 20% on healthy for life. Many activities will be out of the school and within the community. The course may be nonsemester. Students will develop an electronic portfolio for outside activities if they are not involved in an organized activity. Grading for the 11’s and 12’s will be a pass/fail. The grade 9’s and 10’s will still follow the marking they have now. For the first year the 11’s and 12’s will cover the same course material. There will have to be some manipulating with the schedules to fit this course in with time tabling. May be tabled with PreCalculus or may be SDL.

The Plaza project review was presented. The first stage of the project will be finished by August 2008. A questionnaire was presented to Parent Council to fill out in regards to the banners and hand in at the end of the meeting to Mr. Pehura.
