MONDAY
- DAY 2
Driver Ed Challenge competition –
Dr. Ed. Program is hosting Driver Ed Challenge
competition June 1-Dec 31. Students must still be in high school but have
taken or are taking the Dr. Ed Program & have learner or intermediate
licence. Check out the posters for more info or www.mpi.mb.ca.
Driver Ed
- Sign up for Sept classes at Mrs. Anderson’s office. Students must be
born on or before April 30/95 to sign up. Cut off date for classes may
be earlier. Students who previously signed up for Driver Ed and did not get
in to a class must sign up again.
The England, Ireland and Wales trip will be having a mandatory meeting on Monday,
June 14th. Please be in the Foods lab with a parent by 7pm. There will
be food and prizes. We will be discussing fundraisers for the trip. See the
blog for further details.
End of Year
Locker clean out by Monday, June 21 at 4pm. Personal items left behind
will be discarded.
All textbooks
and library books must be returned in order to avoid a hold placed on a
student’s report card.
All outstanding
fees must also be paid.
Report cards
will be distributed on Tuesday, June 29 in the multi in the PCS building
9:30-3:00pm. Report cards with holds will not be mailed home.
Football
– August
23. First practice 5-7pm
Pick up your equipment between 3&5 that day.
GRAD:
Grad Fees

$50 Grad fee is now past due.
Memory Box
-
All grads are invited to write down their favorite memory of their
graduating year and place this slip of paper in a blue grad memories box
located in the main office
Grad Ceremony Tickets
- EXTRAS are available
from Mrs. Anderson
Grad Package – grads will receive their report card and transcripts at the grad
ceremony providing all fees are paid and textbooks returned.
Safe Grad
- forms are available from Mrs. Anderson. Completed forms and fees
must be returned TODAY. No late forms or fees will be accepted.
Grad Rehearsal
is on Friday, June 25th at 10:00 am
Quebec Trip
- There are only about 6 spots remaining on the Quebec 2011 trip. If
you are interested please see Mr. Gamache asap.
Resume Workshop –
Wednesday, July 7 at Portage la Prairie Service Canada Centre for Youth.
Wednesday, July 7 1016 Saskatchewan Ave. East. Bring a storage device (USB,
floppy disk, etc) to save your work on. For more

Summer
Sizzle Sale
for your Hair Care Needs -PCI Hairstyling is clearing out many great hair
products this week and having special promotions all week. Many sales are
posted around the school and we are open lunch hours all week long.
Track & Field
- congratulations to the athletes who competed on Thurs. Fri. and Sat. of
this past week at Provincial Track and Field. Some individual
accomplishments were:
Dylan Brydges who finished 8th in the Junior Boys 200m, and 3rd in the
Javelin
Krystal Drain who finished 5th in the Junior Girls Long Jump, 8th in the
Hurdles
Harlie Poschenrieder who finished 7th in the Junior Girls 1500m and 10th in
the 800m
The Junior girls 4 X 400 relay finished 6th, members were Harlie
Poschenreider, Amber Johnstone, Krystal Drain and Jade Barrault
Nathan Utioh who finished 7th in the Senior Boys High Jump
Michelle Laing who finished 4th in the Senior Girls High Jump

12 students that are planning on attending university in September, and have
not received any confirmation from the university, please see Mrs. Stewart
ASAP.
A reminder to any Grade 12 students to please let the Career Center know
if you have been awarded any outside entrance scholarships.
