Hi! It's Mick! I just stumbled on to this web site. It looks pretty good and nice to see some familiar names both students and staff. Seems kinda weird seeing Steve Lewis teaching Mr. Bills' old class but good luck to him. Apart from grade 12 I basically hated my high school years but now I kinda miss them. For that reason I was sad that the class of 86 didn't have a 10 year reunion. If anyone is planning a reunion, write to me and I'll gladly go. By the way, has anybody heard from Tom Hogerwaard? I haven't seen him since my second year at the U of M. Tom - if you see this, write to me. I'd love to hear from you.

I have lots of fond memories of PCI... Mr. Taylor was in his last year as principal when I was in grade 10. Everything was tickity boo. Mr. Hoover used to smoke in the janitor's closet upstairs. Mr. Byrka claimed that hickies would cause cancer.  If we knew our math, Mr. Gamble would send us for coffee to Nicks Cafe while he taught the others.  Looking back, high school was great at PCI.  I am surprised to see a few of the old teachers are still there. An unbelievable thing happened the other day at my High School--I recognized a substitute teacher, which is funny because I hardly know anyone having just moved to Calgary. After scanning my memory banks for several minutes I realized that it was a man I hadn't seen in about a decade. It was--believe-it-or-not--Mr. Hamm! Talk about shocked! We had a good chat about the "old days at PCI". Take care and I'll catch all my fellow '90 grads at our next reunion--2025--esp. those that missed the one last summer.  :-)

Good job on the web page.  When I first saw it I began to wonder if Sandor
finally got around to uploading it, then i realized that the style sheets weren't there, and excessive javascript had vanished when I read that the CSc teacher had the students working as slave labour. :)

Though this website could use some META tags for the search engines, just so people don't end up searching for Mrs. Robinson and mp3 and end up with the guestbook or the homework routine.

Lorysa Rossnagel's name is spelled wrong on Mrs. Robinson's homework page. Don't worry about her getting mad, though, I know she's used to it.

Your code which incorporates the e-mail address into a "mailto:" reference
has a little bug in it.  hopefully, you don't fix it too soon, because I
don't want any more spam on my ICQ account.  Interesting use of an e-mail
form for a guestbook rather than a cgi/perl script, though I don't agree
with having the webmaster pick and choose what is put in the guestbook.
Have you ever encountered a public guest book where you could look all you
want, but you had to let someone else write down what you wanted to say?

Man, I remember the days...  I still have fond memories of those death
threats..

I doubt that you'll get the CS30S students on to learning classes in C++.
There are two types of CS students:  Those that go through the course
aimlessly not knowing what they're doing, what anything means, or how
anything works, and those that are bored with the childish dribble that is
being "taught" to them which they've mastered months before.

Oh, and one more thing:  To you SFA30S students, have fun virus scanning,
scandisking, and defragging those hard drives. *snicker*  Must be fun
replacing the job of any reasonable task scheduler.

Just keep your eyes peeled for the PATCH.EXE.

Ahh, the glory days... When the Grade 12'ers owned the place...the
equipment, too.

Wow, I never would have thought that I would see PCI on the internet! It's looking great though. To all who work on this site, keep up the good work. You are wonderful teachers who offer your students more then just tests.
