Students interested in exploring post-secondary options can visit Ms Bousquet in the Career Centre, contact by email or call 204-857-6843 Ext. 2013. PCI uses as a resource to help students (and parents) check-out career and post-secondary options specific to each student. Each student has a login and password. Please see Ms Bousquet for assistance, if needed.

Gr. 12 students who are planning on attending university (See Ms Bousquet) or college (See Mr. Hordeski), should be checking to see if you meet entrance requirements.

• High School Apprenticeship Program

Scholarships & Bursary Information:

Outside of PCI – Visit the bulletin board outside of the Career Centre for posting of scholarships and bursaries available for students to apply for independently.
PCI Bursaries and Scholarships – there is a required meeting for any students who are interested in applying for PCI Bursaries and Scholarships. This meeting takes place in the second week of Semester 2 in the Multi. Students must attend this meeting to get information on how to apply and gain any additional needed.
Entrance Scholarships – students who are applying to post-secondary, and want to be considered for Entrance Scholarships at the institution where they will be attending need to check Entrance Scholarship requirements. These are NOT the same as entrance requirements. Please see Ms Bousquet in the Career Centre.

Many organizations in Portage are in need of volunteers.  If you have any time available, drop by the Career Center to see what is available.  Volunteer experience can lead to a part-time job, a reference or possibly a career choice.
