PCI Bursary / Scholarship applications
will be available March 17th at noon in the Multi-Purpose room. All interested
Gr. 12 students will be invited to attend this meeting. Parents are welcome to
attend.
**Please note that the following list of scholarships were from last years grad.
It is to be expected that some will have slight changes.
An accurate list will be handed out at the PCI Bursary/Scholarship
meeting.
ALICE MAYOR BURSARY OF
$450.00
Awarded to a student who
has been involved in a visual arts or performing arts program, lived in the
Portage area for at least 3 years, and will be furthering their education at a
post-secondary institution.
ALPHA DELTA KAPPA SORORITY
SCHOLARSHIP OF $300.00
Presented to a graduating
student who has worked diligently in his/her academic studies, and demonstrated
responsibility in his/her involvement in the school and the community. The
student must be continuing his/her education at a post-secondary education
faculty in a program that leads to a career in working with children.
ARTHUR MEIGHEN HIGH SCHOOL
FAREWELL SCHOLARSHIP/BURSARY OF

Awarded to a graduating
student who is a former student or a descendent of a student or staff member who
attended, worked or taught at Arthur Meighen between the years of 1965 to June
of 2006. The student must be furthering their education.

Awarded to a student with
good marks. A preference will be shown for the student with an interest in the
sciences and who plans to attend university or community college in the upcoming
fall.
