P.C.I. has a vocational system devoted to teaching students specific trades in the work world.

These include:


Automotive Technology

PCI is proud to welcome the Automotive Technology program with its state of the art facility. 

The automotive technology program offer 10 courses from Grade 9 -12.

Grade 10

10SA  Introduction to Automotive Technology

20SB  Engine Fundamentals

20SC  Chasis Theory and Service

 

Grade 11

30SA  Drivetrain Theory

30SB  Fuel Systems

40SBE  Automotive Electronics

 

Grade 12

40SA  Automotive Transmissions and Transaxles

30SSCR Engine Reconditioning

40SC  Climate Control

40SD  Diagnostic and Correction

Building Construction Trades

The Building Construction Trades consist of 10 courses over three years:

Year One Year Two Year Three
Drafting 20s Concrete Roof Framing
Power Tools Framing Stairs
Cabinets Interior Design
Wood Finishing Constructions Electrical

The course, when finished, will allow the individual the opportunity to go to colleges such as Red River Community College and take construction trades there in order to go into one of the many construction fields.


Hairstyling

This program will lead to a provincial licence in hairdressing. More information is available here.


Marketing

The Marketing Program consists of 5 courses:  The students who complete these five courses will receive a Business Education certificate with a major in Marketing.

  • Retailing 20S
  • Relations in Business 30S
  • Promotions 30S
  • Management 40S
  • Marketing Practicum 40S

Further, the students who complete all five Marketing courses plus three other Business Education courses will receive the above certificate plus a Technology Education Diploma in Marketing.  Please refer to the Marketing brochure which is available in the west office.
