School of Choice

The Schools of Choice initiative facilitates parental/student choice, within limits, in selecting the public school best suited to the student’s learning requirements.

To enroll in a school outside your designated catchment area, follow these steps:

1. Register your child at your catchment area school
2. Choose and complete one of the following forms: 
   • School of Choice Form - WITH-IN PLPSD  
   • School of Choice Form - OUTSIDE OF PLPSD

Ensure that the form is filled out and submitted to the school of choice by April 30. 

Note:

• School of Choice applications for FRENCH IMMERSION are only required if the child resides outside of PLPSD.
• For the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years, Crescentview School will not accept Kindergarten School of Choice Registrations.
